The Future Forward Speech Competition is more than just a platform for young voices; it’s a transformative journey where youth are empowered to share their thoughts, ideas, and dreams with the world. We believe in giving young individuals a powerful space to be heard, fostering a community where their voices matter and can create change. Our competition isn’t just about winning; it’s about inspiring others and sparking conversations that shape the future. Through this event, we aim to amplify the voices of our youth, harnessing the potential of their words to inspire, inform, and empower others to envision and build a brighter tomorrow.

Speaker Requirements:

Business Casual dress code on competition day.

Speech Requirements:

• Must address the given topic
• Must provide a strong introduction, body, and conclusion
• Must be three to five minutes in length

Evaluation Criteria:

Your speech will be assessed in accordance with the standards and requirements carried out by a panel of judges, whose decision will be final. The following criteria will apply: 

• Content – appriopriateness and positioning
• Structure – clarity and coherence
• Audience adaptation – positioning, appropriateness, relation
• Ethos – speaker credibility, command of the topic
• Delivery – polish, self-possession, command of self and situation, poise
